Alyx started professional dog training in their early twenties and has spent years since reading behavior, building trust, and shaping calm, confident, well-mannered dogs. Alyx Dilks
Alyx is a lifelong dog lover and dedicated canine behavior specialist who founded The Clever Dog Company to give dogs something no kennel can — a real home and real expertise. Alyx began professional dog training in their early twenties, and now also works as a public speaker and consultant under the brand Hound and Home, and co-founded The Clever Dog Scholarship Program, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering pre-surrender resources to families in crisis. Every guest is treated like family: patient, attentive, and genuinely devoted to their happiness. Your dog isn't a booking here — they're a houseguest Alyx can't wait to welcome.
